To start off this little archive of my work, I will begin with the degree work.

All three (times three) series of Abend mit Goldrand by Arno Scghmidt are a part of it.

After finishing in 2004, I clearly remember thinking: 'That’s quite enough now! I am through with it! I am done!'

However, I now see (I write this in 2009), that in fact all of the later subjects have been preconceived in these bindings - more or less.

So I am indeed taken aback that it is not over after all, but quite the opposite; it is the point of departure.
